About us
Our Core Believes
We believe in the complete authority of the scriptures as the word of God.
- We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost with signs following.
- We believe that Jesus is the son of God and he’s God and besides him is none other.
- We believe in the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ as the basis for our faith. The aforementioned affirm our identity in Christ.
- We believe that Jesus is coming back again and this time through the believers.
- We believe in the trinity of God as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in generous giving as demonstrated by early apostles and believers in the New Testament churches.
- We believe there’s eternal life in heaven after this world for those who died in-Christ.
Why Church?
The church also called the body of Christ is God’s method of distributing supply to the body- “His body”. The gathering together of believers in a particular place and at a specified time is God’s idea to relating with the body. (Act 2:1).
You actually do not need to go to a place in order to have relationship with God as a Christian because God lives in you but, if you must grow as a believer and you want to be respected by the devil, you need the body. And so, we only connect with the body when we come together. A lot of Christians have resulted into self-help whereby they do not belong to any body of believers. When you detach from the body, you suffer malnutrition and you expose yourself to the attack of the devil.
If, there was no institution like church in the early times, we wouldn’t have had the letters of Paul to the church at Galatia, Corinth, Ephesus and soon.
- We gather together for spiritual edification. Eph 4:16, James 5:13-16
